So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. They where our neighbours at Pioneer Village. Always happy and always having a joke for laughter every time we saw them. We first met your parents in 2006 and found out that they where friends with my first cousin ( Dennis & Donna Harris-Clinton Ontario CANADA). From there on we visited many times. God Bless You Roy !! in the loss of your dear wife

My deepest heartfelt sympathy with the loss of Carol (Mom) Gaunt. She was a special person cherished and loved by so many. Her smile and laughter lit up the room and was contagious. Her loving and giving nature went above and beyond without falter, for both family and friends. Her embrace was sincere and given with loving enthusiasm. As I pause and reflect, Mom Gaunt provided valuable insights through her actions, by her words and in touching others with her spirit. Mom always made you feel like you were the most important person, even amongst a large gathering. Even now I can hear her call “Susie Bell,” (whenever we greeted), which was immediately followed up with one of her special heartfelt hugs. Mom treasured her family & friends. She always thought of others by doing something special….Be it homemade gifts, planning a pool party, making a special dish that was everyone’s favorite, opening her home to family & friends, or sharing her laughter and stories. Over the years, Mom joined & enriched many of our HH gatherings (a girls group) and other planed festivities. She is a gem in our group that will always be treasured. I remember the first time seeing her wear her red hat, she was so poised and cheerful. That hat was a symbol that honored her and those she loved…..her girls. One of my favorite memories was the joining our two girls groups for a superb bridging of the generation gap. Of course there really was no gap. As our groups met for an afternoon, of which, many great stories surfaced that when retold had everyone in stiches. Carol Gaunt truly celebrated and had a zest for life. She knew the importance of family and friends, giving, loving, laughing, and sharing her spirit. Her kind and thoughtful nature was a Blessing to all. Carol will be sadly missed. Love & prayers to the family, Suz Dines
