Dorothy M. Bowen, aged 97 of Kentwood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 21, 2015. She was born on April 19, 1918 in Muskegon and married Albert Bowen on February 25, 1935. He preceded her in death in 2001 after 66 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Donald (Kathi) Bowen; daughters, Patsy Jamieson (Jack Warmelink) and Jo-Anne Cook; ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Veda Filipiak; and several nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Moose Lodge, 2630 Burlingame SW, Wyoming. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Grace Hospice and Visiting Angels for their loving care of Dorothy. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice or Visiting Angels.
