Verda worked with me many years ago at WGVU and the thing I remember most about her was her kindness and how much she loved her family. I have thought of her often over the years and still wear the beautiful bangle bracelets she gave me more than 30 years ago. Rest in peace, Dear Verda ... you will be missed. Sherry Bouwman

For many years my husband, Chuck Furman, worked at WGVU with Verda. We have exchanged Christmas cards for years. Although Chuck himself died several months ago, he would have wanted to send our fond memories and condolences. Blessings and peace. Judy Furman

I, too, worked with Verda at WGVU-TV up until she retired. As I recall, Verda was the first person to retire from the station. She was wonderful to wok with. My condolences to you, her loving family. Carrie Corbin
