Virginia Mae Gessner

Virginia Mae Gessner, age 94, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terry Terpstra; grandchildren, Melissa and Ronald Wood; Craig and Kirsten Terpstra; Kevin and Becky Terpstra; 6 great grandchildren, Jackson Terpstra, Isabelle Terpstra, Aubrey Terpstra, Ethan Wood, Lilly Wood, Hudson Wood; good friend, Jan Miedema; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW, with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation.
