Debra Rae Gage, age 71, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2026, and is now with her Lord and Savior. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Stephen; children, Christy (Derk Zwart) Gage, Matthew (Sharrie) Gage, Jenni (Danny) Moore; grandchildren, Dylan, Chloe, Claire, Hayley, Eildert, and Owen; sisters, Vickie Werkema, Kim (Rick) Heuvelman; mother-in-law, Ruth Gage, brothers and sisters in-law, Joanne (John) Mol, Dan Gage, Jeff (Cindy) Gage, and Patti Cookingham; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Shirley Wolf; father-in-law, Marvin Gage; brothers-in-law, Dennis Werkema and Corry Cookingham. She fought cancer for 21 years, showing extraordinary strength and perseverance throughout her journey. Her courage was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed her career as a medical assistant and was a woman of faith. Most importantly she loved her grandchildren unconditionally. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Wednesday, November 4, 2026,  at  St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 5:30-7pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming with a rosary at 5pm.
